Letter to the Government I have received instructions to inform you that in so refusing to deliver the property you were acting contrary to Law. I have therefore desired the Appraiser to call on you again and to show you (as he states he did on the former occasion) the Commission of Appraisement, and hope you will see the propriety of delivering to him the property in question.

Should you however still refuse, I am directed to inform you that proceedings will be taken against you under Section 5 of Ordinance No. 9 of 1870.
