Court House, Hong Kong,
12th February, 1872.
I have the honor to enclose a letter I have received from the Appraiser of the Court by which you will see that the Spanish Consul determines that the property of the deceased persons be given up to the Officer authorised to take charge of it.
You may recollect (Registrar’s letter No. 10 of 1870) a somewhat similar case.
The Honorable
J. Gardiner Austin,
Colonial Secretary.
