(Selangor) Rubber Plantations Co., Ltd, for the year ended June 30 states that the yield of rubber for the year was 9,5431b., which realized 8. gross average price of 4s. 8.248. per lb and a net price of 46. 2.93d. The cost of production, owing to the relatively small
number of trees as yet in tapping, was bigh, amounting to 2s. 0.9d. per lb. The number of trees in tapping is gradually increasing, and the number at the end of August last was 10,500 trees. The profit and lose account shows a debit balance of £294 carried to balance-sheet.
