the Estimate for 1872 for Clothing
and accoutrements, and this is owing to the provision necessary for the Auxiliary Force which was not foreseen at the time of passing the Estimates. However, Your Lordship will be pleased to learn
that
even with the additional
expenditure
on
this item there is
reason to believe that the Estimates
will not be exceeded.
I hope that the Crown Agents will be requested to forward the stores with as little delay as possible by one of the
Steamers leaving Europe
via the Suez Canal,
