London, September 10. Reuter learns that negotiations which have been procceeding since the middle of July resulted in the signature of a Loan Agree ment on August 30th by the Chinese Minister in London and a London house.

The details are not yet settlor, but the Loan is believed to be for ten million sterling, bearing interest at 5 per cent., spread over 40 years, and secured upon unpledged securities, chiefly the solt tax.
