Funnel-less Ship. Arriving from Penang on May
STEAMSHIP CO 16 in unpropitious weather, the funnel-lens motor steamer Solandia anchored outside Colom- bo harbour and came in at day- break. She carried four pass0D- gore on her voyage, and a largo cargo, and after taking in about 1,400 tons sailed for Europe. The sight of a funnel-less stoomer in Colombo harbour was still a novelty, and quite a number of
day. The vessel had a successful trip.
The next funnel-less steamer to arrive in Colombo, says the "Advocate of India," will be the Jutlandia, which is expected there about the middle of June. Sho will be follow- od by the font in July.
