The tone for rubbor aliares hos bocn firmer than some time past and the market closes strong in both sterling and local stocks, with a larger business passing. Tin shares remain steady and industrials have been in more demand.
Rubber. Ayor Kunings camo to business at 14 7.1-2 with further buyers. Bukit Sembawange were done in large numbers at 1 1.1-2 to 1.2.1-2, Helwoods rose to 4-6 with further buyers. Kurla Lum purs changed hands at £Ú,7,0 10 £8.10., Malúora Proforence at £10.10, Tebenus at 53-6 and. United Sumatras ut 0-9. Singa- pore and Johores are firm with buyers at $9.75. Sandycrofts are wanted at. $14 To $14.25, United Singapores were dealt in at $1.05 with buyora over. Malakoffs are wanted at $-1:95, Toluk An sons at $4.10 and Ayor Muleks at $1,70. Henriettas are on offer at $2 discount.
Mining-Business was done in Raubs at $2.15 with furthor sellers at the rato. Sungei Unus changed handa at $1.25, Kann- bois are steady at 81.00. A few Tongkah farbours are obtainable at $23.50
General. Straits Trádling have been in good domand with no sellers now under $51. Riley. Hargreaves Ordinary were placed. at $97,50. Steamships at $270; and Frasor and Noaves at $47,50.. Shells close quidat·81s.

"The "N. C. Daily Now" un- derstands that the total of foreign houses represented at the treaty ports in 1910 was 3,230. "The largest number is contributed by Japan, namely, 1,601.
