The lock will only take a ship about 10 ft. longer than the Demosthones, whilst the dry dock will only accommodate a vessel 4 ft. longer. In other words, owners using these docks now realize that until the projected extensions are carried through by the Port of London Authority, the Albort Dock will not be ablo to tako, any
