In this connection, it is to be noted that the existing dimensions of the lock of the Albert and Victoria Docks, where, tho Aber deen linors discharge and lond, does not permit of any notable increase in length or beum. The Domosthenos is of 11,223 gross By tons, and has a length of 500.6, a benni of 62:3 ft., an In depth of 39.4 ft. The lock will only take a ship about 10 ft. longer than the Demosthones, whilst the dry dock will only accommodate a vessel 4 ft. longer. In other words, owners using these docks now realize that until the projected extensions are carried through by the Port of London Authority, the Albort Dock will not be ablo to tako, any
thing very much larger than the SUN GLASSES.
