On the 28th at 12.10 p.-Tho barometer has risen rapidly in the neigh Lanhood of Hongkong, and slight to mderate increases of pressure, have taken place in other areas. The typhoon, which passed near Macao yesterday fternoon, has disappeared over the con tinent. Pressure is now near the normal atall stations. It is highest over the Pacific in the neighbourhood of the Benius. Moderate S. and S.E. winds th may be expected over the N. part of the China Eas.
