The Chinese Commercial Mis- sion to Japan, consisting of
Chinese business-mon, was to have come to Japan via Shanghai at the beginning of this month, but those who had reached Bhanghai by the end of last month were only the representatives from the Chambers of Commerce at Peking. Hankow, Koh-chau, Changsha, Soo-chau, Shanghai, and a few other business-men. Owing to the fact that the Cham bors of Commerce in Nanking, Canton, and Tientsin could not arrange to soud their represent ativos laat month, the postpone mont of the visit was agreed to and it has been decided to visit! Japan early in the autumn. The Commercial Mission, proposes to koop an offico in Shanghai in order to print books concerning commercial and industrial con ditions in Japan and Chins, and to give advice on various matters connected with trado.—"Japan Chronide."
