I am glad to have heard that you are appointed Crown Solicitor provisionally. I am sure the appointment will give general satisfaction.
For myself, I feel certain that in the discharge of the Office, the duties connected with the Supreme Court will be well-performed and that your integrity and honor, for which I have long respected you, will secure on all difficult occasions your adoption of the course which will best become an Agent of the Government.
