When Sir R. Macdonnell wrote this very energetic remonstrance, he had not received our letter of the 30th Sept enclosing F.D.9527. That letter will however not affect his views. I think the draft on 9152 may now go as altered.
It is hopeless to attempt to reconcile Sir R. Macdonnell & Mr. Wade
