PROIBSTANT CEMETERY,

DEDICATION CEREMONY

As an outcome of the prolonged discussion which, took place at the Sanitary Board last year over the question of the burial of non- Christions is the cemetery, hithaste commonly known as the Colonial Cemetery, a piece of Crown land, in which burials had formerly taken place but which it was discovered had not bean consecrated, was set apart by Ordinance for the burial of the dead, who, when alive, professed the Christian religion.
