LIKIN COLLECTIONS. ·
The collection of Likin duer in Canton dur- ing the second ten days of the sith moon, as
irposted by the Lik'n officials to the Viceroy, amounted to 88,0094.7.0 saels, which shows ad lecrease of nearly 50,000 tasis as compared with the amount collected during the preced ing ten days. The increase is evidently due to large exports of native goods on account of the closing of the Chinese year in anticipation of the new year holidays.
