The following report is from Mr. F. G. Figg, Pirector of the Hongkong Observatory

On the 3rd at 12,10 p.-The barometer has, rison slightly on the S. cost of China, and fallen slightly to moderately over Formosa and

the Loochoos.

The shallow depression shown to the S.E. of Formosa this morning, may possible be con- nected with recurvature of the recent typhoon, The area of high pressure is lying over E Japan. Pressure remains low over, S. Chios.

Moderale to fresh marsoon may be expected in the Formosa Channel and the N. part of the Chida See.

Hongkong Rainfall for the 24 hours ending at to a.m. to-day, 0.02 inches. FORECAST.
