THE WEATHER.
The following raport is from Mr. F. G. Figg, Director of the Hongkong Observatory
On the 4th at 6.00 a-Black South Cone Hoisted,
At 11.05-The barometer is inclined to rise in the neighbourhood of Hongkong. It has fallen considerably Dyer Tongking and N. Aboam,'
The typhoon, which appears to be 'moving Westwards, is situated to the South of Hong- kong in about 20 Lai,
The barometer has a tendency to foll ́again is the Philippines and a marked fill has taken place over the Loochoos. Probably another depression exists over the Pacific in about zu Lat, 130" Loop.
A third depression is moving Eastwards over Manchuria.

The highest pressure is show over N. Ching. Fresh N.E. winds may he expected in For- osa Channel and cyclon.cgales over the N.W. part of the China Sea.
