An inquest was held at the Magistracy, last Wednesday afternoon, by Mr. Croner Kamp and a-jury, concerning the death of a Chinese woman named Yust Sum, who died suddenly at Yauuna-ti during the end of last month. The evidence addated by the police was that Yast Sum, who resided at 28, Kennedy Street, was a victim of tuberculosis. On the day in ques tion she became suddenly ill. A friend waige were put in position and everything called in, and the unfortunate womat was given a dose of powder. She expired some hours later.
