protest, but it would have been going too far to point out that it has become sufficiently clear that the prohibition of the traffic is the most security against these calamities, which would strengthen the hands of those who on similar grounds desire to put an end to our system of Coolie Emigration. However it really seems as if prohibition will stop the horrors of this traffic.
