THE NASTIN TREATMENT

Deycke laviated the neutral fat, which bebas called Naslin, was fully described in the paper, and the result of his researches may be summed up, be says, in the following sentence; -Benzoji-Nazio is an agent which directly acts on leprosy bacolli. He believes that this treatment of leprosy,
resoned ts without exaggerated expectations, will have satisfactory results. It will Bo pos sible, he thinks, to arrest the leprous process: "ant; in many casts, there will be obtained a distinct improvement and unmistakable retro- gression of the leprous symptoms. Captain Williams described in detail some cases which in had treated himself by this method and the subject was also dealt with by-Major-Jackson, Captain Smith, Captain Bissett, and Dr. Rod rigues. Dr. Tarkhud, late Medical Officer at the Matusga Asylum, described some 'cases which had been selected for treatment there by X-Rays. Out of the 31 cases which had been - originally selected for treatment tbare 4 died, of intercurrent diseases, 4 left treatment, 7 showed slight improvement, 7 marked im provement, 5 considerable improvement, and
