A telegram has been received by the Canton Prem Society for transmission to the Canton Self-Government Society, from the Chinese asidents in Singapore to the affect that the branch office there of Wong Cheung Wab, a well-known mecidine cil-dealer (whose Yu Yee oil particularly well-known) has acted in violation to the Japanese Boycott regujailogs so that they have now sospended business with the said firm. It is officially reported that at present the bandits in Lianchow are very active in die turbing the 'public peace. Admiral Li Chun yesterday despatched Captain Ng Tsung Yu with a detachment of troops to the spot to suppress them: Lionchow is the prefecture in which the "Lieschow Massacre" involving the deaths of a number of American missionarios took place three years ago.
