The agreement for a loan to the Canton. Hankow Railway having been approved by the Ministry of Finance, H.B. Chang, Chib-tung, director-general of the Railway Company; has signed it with the German (7) Bank.

The agreement contains clauses similar to those of the loan contracted in behalf of the Tientsin-Pukow Railway,
