During the forthcoming sassion of the Prus ian Dist, say advices from Berlin, of October 8, the Government will propose a modification of Income-tax in favour of married men with children, which will differentiate taxation in such a way as to impose a greater burden on bachelors and also on married men without
children than on the heads of families.
It will be proposed that all those paring Income-tax on jacomes not exceeding 400 shall be entitled to deduct £4 for every child. A differentiation in favour of married men with children strendy exists in Prussia, so that the new law will merely bring, about an extension of the present system.
