The object of thin gathering is, as you know, the formal commencement of the work of erection of the new Municipal building. The necessity of such a building is apparent to all of us, as, at present, the Muni cipal staff is distributed about in various parts of the Concession which is a great inconvenience. We intend to erect a building, or rather a group of buildings, which will contralize the whole executive staff of the Municipality, con sistag of the Secretarial, Police, Sanitary and Public Works Departments.
