On the 5th at raps p-The barometer has fallen copriderably in E. fapan awing to, the depression which is moving towards E.N.E over S.E. J-pau,
Pressure has increased" moderately over. W. Japan and the N:E. coast of Chins, and fallen slightly at the stations around the China Sea. It is relatively high over Chitia to the Bouth of the Yangtze, and alightly low in the neigh- bourhood of N. Lazo..
Moderate N.E. winds may be expected in the Formosa Channel and the N. part of the China Sea.
Hongkong Rainfall for the 24 hours ending at 10 am, to-day, 000 inches.
