0. C. MOOSA,

There are other cases of murder.having been commiued by the, accused and two of them relate to dancing girls. These girls, the boys confess, they killed, removed their jewels and threw them into a tank. One of the danc ing girls, named Lakshmi, they say, was thrown into the mill tank in the city, and the other gil into the Sampige tank. The girl was a resident of Ulsoor and was brought into the city and murdered in' Chambraianel in the building where formedy Srizama Medical Hall was. She was inveigled to this building and ́given brandy mixed with arsenic to drink and when she began to cry out, chloroform was administered. They then cut her throat te moved all her jewellery, tied her up in a sack with sawdust, and carrying the sack in a soda. water cart threw it into the mill tank. Three !days after this body was found floating in the tank and the police held an inquest. But in the inquest the victim was not identified nor claimed by any one and she was dispored of an "Bevars." But the past mortem examination disclosed that she had died. from the effects of poison. The police suspected foul, play but were not able to find the authors till now.
