OPENING OF NEW SECTIONS, [From Our Own Correspondent]

Canton, 17th February

At a meeting of the board of directors of the Canton-Hankow Railway he'd yesterday, the 36th day of this moan (the 27th instant) has been appointed as the day on which the apes. of the two newly completed sections of the railway from Kongisua to Kwoktong and thence to Suakai will inks place. The rates of farer to be charged on these sections will be left to be fixed by one of the director, Mr. Li, and ure. time table for the sunning of the trains on these lines will be fixed by Taolai Kwang, the engineer-in-chief of the Company. At, the meeting it was de- cided that a monthly report, in the firm of a bulletin, should be issued from the first day, the second moon, and which should contain the working of the company generally, to gether with the various intements of accounts

that have been passed. by the board directors, in order that the general public and shareholders might get an idea of the monthly returns of the company, without having to aliced the office. This paper will be listed once a wee and the chaige will be three crots per copy. The paper will be known as "The Canton blankow Radway News”
