The following are the Exceptions and Conditions above referred to:--

The Art of God the Queen's Enemies restraint of Princes Rulers or Peoples restriction of Quarantine Pirates Rubbers or Thieves by Sea or Land Accidents Loss or Damage from Vermin Barraing Fire Jettison Collision Machinery Boilers Steam and alt Perils Dangers and Accidents of the Seus Rivers Land Carriage and Navigation of what kind soever and accidents loss damage delay or detention from any act of the Egyptian Government or the Transit Administration or arising out of or consequent upon the employment of the Company's Vessels in Her Majesty's Mail Service or any act neglect or default whatsoever of the Pilot Master Mariners or other Servants of the Company or from transhipment or warehousing or from obliterations of marks or numbers or from leakage breakage insufficiency of packages or rust or injurious effects of other goods or from Ships not having roum at Port of Transhipment are all excepted. A written Declaration of the Contents und Value of Goods must be delivered by the shippers to the Company with the Bills of Lailing and an
untrue declaration shall release the Company from all responsibility and shall entitle the Company to charge double Freight an the real value. All Goods must be distinctly marked bath on the outer und inner Packages with the Marks Numbers aut Port of Destination otherwise the

The Company are to be at liberty to carry the said Goods to their Port of Destination by the abare or other Steamer as Steamers Ship or Ships either belonging to the Company or to other persons proceeding either directly or indirectly to such Port and in so doing to carry the Goods beyond their Port of Destruction and to transhiji or land and store the Goods either on shore or afloat and veship and forward the same at the Company's expense but at Merchant's risk.
In cases where the ultimate destination at which the Company may have engaged to delbear the Goods is beyond their Port of Discharge the Company act as formarding darunts only from that Fort aut in all cases the liability of the Company on account of all Goods in tú cease te soon us the Goods are free from the Ship's tackles,
In the transit to and from Suez and Alexandria the Goods mill be landed forwarded casteyed and re-shipped at the Company's expruse but af Merchant's risk and in no rase will the Company be responsible for derident loss damage delay or detention boterer caused in the course of such landing transit or reshipment.
Goods deliverable in London will at the expense of the Company be landed at Southampton and forwarded by Railway to London and then
in Fighter Van or otherwise to a Bonded Warehouse or Dock or W ̋kayf excepí spreje which will be forwarded to the Bank of England. The company shall have the option of making delivery of the Goods under this Bill of Lading either oner the Ship's side or from Lighters
or a Stare Ship or Custom House or Warehouse at Merchant's risk.
Consignees or their Assigns must be ready to take delivery of Goods as suna ax the Ship is ready to discharge them otherwise the Company shall be at liberty to land and warehouse or discharge them into a Store Ship at the Merchant's risk and expense and shall have a lien thereate for such expense.
Specie deliverable in London will be landed at Southampton and forwarded by Railway to London and conveyed to the Bank of England at the Company's.expense but at the Merchant's vist. All liability of the Company is to cease so soon as the sperie is free from the Ship's
Lackles.
6 The Company will land and clear the within Goods through the Chato at lease af Santhampton (unless instructed to the contrary) ansi forward them to that several addresses at the Consignees expense and risk from the time of their being cleared. Duty and all other charges incurred in tinglanat are to be paid cu delivery.
