On the 5th at 11.55 8.-The baro eter bas fallen considerably over the Loochoos, and a slight to moderate fall had occurred also over S. China, Formosa and Luzon. .

The typhoon, which appears to be situated 10 the Loochoos in about 21° Lat., seems to be new moving northwards,

Pressure remains bigh over N. China and the Sea of Japan.

Surang N. and N.E. winds are expected to prevail in the Formosa Channel, and the N. part of the China Sea,

nongkong rainfall for the 24 hours ending at to a.m. to-day, a co ipeli.
