Hi Excellency, taking the key, unlocked the door, and then, after a short address declared the Exhibition open, and then proceeded to pass up the stairs and through the Halls.

The Director of Public Works laid on the table a report of proceedings of the Public Works Committee at a meeting held on the 25th October, 1906. The report is as follows:-
