It is very probable, too, that the shipping companies will not be the only sufferers. If the coal from Manchuria, conveyed at a very small cost, le largely sold at Shanghai, Hong-
kong, and other parts, there can be no doubt
whatever that the demand for Kischiu coal in thosa neighbourhoods will be very unfavour jably affected, Under these circumstances the sex transport proposals are naturally attracting much public attention."
