The Markets yielded $31,525 in 1870, and there is every prospect that the results of 1871 will prove equally lucrative. Under these circumstances, an estimated increase of $1,000 is considered safe.
This source of Revenue yielded $18,180 in 1870, and as the rent of the Slaughter Houses has been increased by $177 per month, the Estimate for 1872 is also increased.
The yield in 1870 was $30,872 and no reduction is anticipated from the
results of the current year.
