JORN TOPICS:
9th February.
'What a change from yesterday in the wan- ther. The morning was a magnificent ona. Our princely visitor from the South and our princely Jockey from the North brought King weather, with them. Johnstone arrived by the English mall from Shanghai. It was quite exhilarating to see his cheery, beaming countenance at the Coune, and many will extend him a haariy' welcome and wish him' a Jolly, good time in Hongkong, with many win- ping mounts.
The inner course was open to gallop; it was considered fast going. The "times" are given in succession for each respective
