PROPOSED NEW REGULATIONS.
The Ministers of Great Britain, Germany, he United States; Austria-Hungary, Russia, elgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Japan in Peking have communicated with the Waiwupu with reference to the rectification of the existing regulations of the International Mixed Court north of the Yangklogpang in Shanghai, stating that owing to the extension of the international Settlements in 1898, the number of persons under the jurisdiction of the Mixed Court north the Vangkingpang has since been greatly inconsed. As the existing regulations of the Mixed Court were drawn up so long ago as 1869, and on account of the growth of, the Fettlements, they require immediate rectifica. 1100. Accordingly the following twelve new egulations have been drafted by the Consuls General in Shanghat for the information and anction of the foreign Ministers and the Pe king Government and a copy has been sent for perusal to his Highness Prince Ching. The new regulation are to be enforced as soon as they have been recognised by the Chinese Government;. ·
