It is about the laziest way one may enjoy duckshooting, and certainly it is very charining. The largest brown troutaught in New Zealand scaled 37 lb. Others have been caught weighing 31, 20 and 28. These are generally caught in farger lakes, or at the mouths of the large rivers of the South Island but in the far-famed Rote ua, in the heart of the wondrous geyserland, rainbow put rang ing up to 10 lb. are caught.
