INTERESTING CEREMONY.
An interesting ceremony took place at the Supreme Court-house this morning, at the pening of the Criminal Sessions. As stated in the Hongkong Telegraph yesterday, there were no cases on the list for trial, and the staden sessions was therefore signalised by the Chief Justice, Sir Francis Figgott. The the presentation of a pair of white gloves to Court was crowded with jurors who had been summoned to attend, and by spectators curious
to witness the ancient and time-honoured ceze.
