Ltd, prosecuted the timekeeper at the East Point m Il with inciting the hands to strike, and preventing 150 boys from, working by which the mills work was impeded and serious loss was sustained on 13th inst. The defendant. alleged there had been many assaults at the mill and he was afraid to work there.

At the Supreme Court this morning, the Chief Justice (Sir Henry S. Berkeley) gave judgment in the case in which Wong Lut Wan sued Tam Chak U for the specific performance of an agreement to purchase certain houses in Richmond Road, or in the alternative he claimed $10,000 damages. The case has been fully reported in these columns. His Lordship gave judgment for the defendant with costs, together with interest at the rate of 8 per cent per annum as from the 28th May, 1903.
