Str. Borneo from Sandakan-In the Sulu Sea had a strong N.E. wind (4-8) and heavy sea, wh to within the China Sea till 17* N. 119 E, met light winds (variable from W. to N. light sea) from there N.E. trade wind 3-5, according sea and moderate N.E., E, swell."

Str. Wathors from Singapore Strong N.E. monsoon, with high sea occasionally increas- ing to moderate gale was experienced all the way from there until reaching Lat. 18-0-0 N., weather gradually became finer, passage from Hoihow to this port was accomplished in fine weather, but slightly foggy.
