'ONSIGNEES of Cargo from London ex. s.6. Bagdad, from Havre ex 8.3. Bagdad, and from Bordeaux ex 5.3. Ville de Rochefort, in connection with above Steamer, are hereby informed that their Goods, with the exception of Opium, Treasure and Valu ables are being landed and stored at their risks into the Godowns of the Hongkong and Union Insurance Society of Canton, Limited Kowloon Wharf and Godown Co., Limited, at Kowloon, whence delivery may be obtained immediately after landing.

Optional Cargo will be forwarded on unless PORTS OF BRAZIL AND RIVER PLATE. intimation is received from the Consignees before to A.M. TO-DAY, requesting it to be landed here.

N TUESDAY, the 23rd August, at ON

P.M., the Company's Steamship "TOURANE, Captain Girard, with Mails, Passengers, Specie and Cargo, will leave this Port for MARSEILLES, vit Ports of Call, WITHOUT TRANSHIPMENT.

This Steamer connects at COLOMBO with the Australian Line S.S. Armand Réhic bound for MARSEILLES vnd BOMBAY and ADEN. Cargo and Specie will be registered for Lon- don as well as for Marseilles, and accepted in transit through Marseilles for the principal places of Europe.

Shipping Orders will be granted till Noon only on MONDAY, the 22nd August, Specie and Parcels received until 4 P.M. on the same day. No Cargo will be received on board on TUESDAY.

Contents

Parcels are not to be sent on board; they must be left at the Agency's Office. and Value of Packages are required.

Montford, R.N.R., Carrying His Majesty's Mails, will be despatched from this for BOMBAY, on SATURDAY, the 27th August, at Noon, taking Passengers and Cargo for the above Ports in connection with the Company's S.S. Moldavia, 9,500 tons, from Colombo, Passengers' accommodation in which vessel is secured before departure from Hongkong.

Silk and Valuables, all Cargo tor France, and lea for London (under arrangement) wil be transhipped at Colombo into the Mail steamer proceeding direct to Marseilles and London; other Cargo for London, &c., will be conveyed from Bombay by the R.M.S. Victoria, due in London on the 9th October."
