Mr. Perdicaris has remained, and his sumptuous entertainments have for many years been the main feature of social life in Tangier. It proved to be a very beautiful but imperious lady, who will make Ernest get up in the middle of the night, and, perchance step on the point a great big tack as he sings a lullaby, "Home, Sweet Home."
