Mr. John Henshall. Victim of an accident at Hanley. "I am getting on in years," he said-"nearly sixty-eight--and since I lost my eye I have done no work in the pits. That is, however, not the only trouble I have had. For two years I was laid up with an attack of liver complaint, which caused acute indigestion. I also suffered from nervous debility. I had agonising pains in the head, and was subject to feelings of giddiness. I was hardly able to eat, and got into a very weak, low, and depressed state of health. Indeed, I used to feel at times like a mao out of his mind, and but for Dr. Williams pink pills. I don't know what would have: become of me.

"To see if I could get any benefit,” said Mr. Henshall, continuing his story, went to Rhyl, and spent three weeks at one of the con- valescent homes there. But I got no better; in fact, while I was at Rhyl I thought my endj was approaching, and feeling that I should rather die at home, I came back to Stafford-

shire. I still suffered on my return, and for Talati, Mr. and Mrs. M. a time I became an out-patient at the North
