THE CHINA COAST METEOROLOGICAL 4 REGISTER is exhibited at the same places daily 5about noon. It contains observations made at Hongkong and at a number of stations in the Far East, together with Remarks, Weather. forecasts, and information regarding the exist ence and movements of typhoons based therton.

Masters of vessels, or their agents, may, whenever necessary, call at the Telegraph Company's Office in Connaught Road and send telegrams to the Observatory saking for special Information without charge. Such inquiries may also be sent from the Police Station at Kowloon Point which is connected with the Observatory by telephone.
