TNFORMATION has been received from PRACTICE will take place from Victoria the Military Authorities that heavy GUN Battery, Belcher Sub-district, on the 16th -· instant, and the residents within a radius of one mile of the Battery are hereby warned to keep the doors and windows of their houses open on that date to prevent damage to buildings.
Practice will commence at 9 AM, and end about It A.M. if the Range is clear.

Military Authorities that GUN PRAC NFORMATION has been received from the
(West, East and South Shore Batteries) in a TICE will take place from Stonecutters Island
to 4,000 yards, on the 18th instant, and from South-Westerly direction at ranges from 600 Lyemun (Redoubt and Pak-sha-wan Batteries) in the direction of the entrance to Junk Bay at ranges from 1,000 to 4,000 yards, on the igth instant.
If the weather is unfavourable on either of these dates, practice will take place on the zist instant.
18th instant, and at 9 A.M. on the 19th instant, Practice will commence at 9.30 AM, on the and end at ir A.M. daily, if the range is clear.
