On the 28th at 6 a.m. Black Drum lowered. At 11.45 a.m. The barometer has risen general- ly, particularly in the neighbourhood of Hong- kong.

The progress of the typhoon was arrested, and filling up ensued in consequence of the existence of an anti-cyclone of great intensity Lover Central China.
