To all whom it may concern, and in this respect everyone in the Colony is included, the excellent paper, read by Dr. John C. Thomson, M: D., M... at the City Hall last Monday, on malaria and its relation to the mosquito, has furnished matter for serious reflection and action, not only respecting Government officials and members of the medical profession, but especially as regards the ordinary layman whose efforts to ward off the dreaded anopheles have, for the most part, been limited to the hitching of a |-curtain-or-be-application-of-a-bathroom- slipper Dr. Thomson, who is the visiting medical surgeon of the Tung Wa Hospital, has been very closely in touch with his pet subject, having heen especially deputed by A.
