It was the hand of Sir Thomas Jackson, and we all of us, I am sure, wish that good health and a long life may be granted him to enjoy the rest in the old country which he has so nobly earned (applause) Gentlemen, althought the old pilot has dropped us and this argosy will have to sail her way under a new hand and under new directions, there
