WATER
Throughout the Manufacture of this justly celebrated brand of Table Waters all ingre dients used are guaranteed of purest quality... The machinery used is the most modern ́type and we have gone to great expense to erect our plant on latest scientific principles which has such a great advantage over the old process of manual labour still in vogue through the Colony, thereby further ensuring the purity of our products.
--
The Manufactory is under the personal supervision of a QUALIFIED ENGLISH "CHEMIST, who has devoted years to bring
this branch of the trade to perfection.
The Water used is 'analysed daily to en sure of its absolute purity, and when we say that our method of manufacture has been approved by Sanitary and Medical Authori- ties, it is in itself a sufficient guarantee.

TIME SIGNAL FOR NAGASAKI The
question of a noon signal for Nagasaki has been in the minds of many of the prominent residents for some time. At a recent meeting of the City Assembly the matter was discussed, and it was decided to arrange for the firing of a gun at noon. This will mean an expense of about Yen 30 per annum, and the work of arrangement is to be commenced very soon.
