Old Chang jumped up and tried to draw a revolver from under his baju, I lifted up my leg and flipped the old gentleman's spectacles off his nose with my bare foot As neatly as a conjurer would do. SIFTINGS FROM THE “SUN.”

A few months azn the London pavisa Parker undertook the labour of conducting the Sun, a Loadou evening paper, in order to show. journalists how to do it. He is now followed by Mr. Dan Len, who will show from his point of view how it should be done. Dan Leno chose the 1st of April as an appropriate day for thủ venture, and the following are a few clippings from his paper :-

-Yes," said Honoria. "As a matter of fact "Did that henn Chang did not do it himself at all. He was too clever for that. An American skipper out of employment undertook the stage manage ment of the show, I don't know what amenut of squeeze he was paid for his 'trouble, but I bet he wished he had left the comedy alone before he was finished. As a matter of fact I knew beforehand of the whole affair. My' Chinese ayah laid the trap for them: That ayah was worth her weight in gold, and Sir Herbert knew it when he sent her to me. The Ameri- can was introduced to me by Chang, and pre-petency, tended to be smitten at once.
