Were it possible to furnish the market, Way. invented to realise Baron von Liebig's at a reasonable price, with a preparation of desire for a neat food that would contain. meat combining in itself the albuminous not only the stimulating properties of flesh together with the extractive principles, such a preparation ould have to be preferred to extractum carnis, for it would contain all the nutritive constituents of meat. 1 have before stater, that in preparing the Extract of Meat the albuminous principles remain in the residue; they are most nutritive, and this is certainly a great disadvantage.
