The P. M. S..S. Co's steamer Nippon Maru with mails, &c., left San Francisco for this port via Honolulu, Yokohama, Inland Sea, Kobe, Nagasaki and Shanghai, on the 27th inst

The P. M. 5. S. Co.'s steamer Peru with mails &c. which left bence Aug. 31st for San Fran- cisco via Shanghai, Nagasaki, Kobe, Inland Sen, Yokohama and Honolulu, arrived at her destination on the 38th inst.

The Canadian Pacific Railway Co.'s R.M.S. Empress of Japan arrived at Nagasaki at 8am, on Monday, the 30th inst, and left again at 5 pm, sanie day fór Kabe where she is due to arrive at 5 am, on Wednesday the and pros.
