Kew, Looker, Lowe and Noble were prominent in the relief, and took the ball to Kowloon's end, compelling Burrell to handle; but Kowloon again got into the Club's confines and Key had to save twice in quick succession. When half- time was called neither team had scored. Kew was in great form, and delighted spectators by bis centre-half play. It was from him that Lawe received the ball and scored the only goal. Kowloon was making a determined attack, and Wright was about to shoot when Kow- stepped in and smartly deprived him of the ball. Kew put in a short dribble, and then sent to Lowe, close to the half-way flag: he eluded all wing opposition and then outpaced. all who pursued him, keeping the ball, close to his toes all the way, gradually Burrell closing to the centre as he jan. was on the alert, but Lowe beat him all to pieces with a fast rising slot, and the kalf landed in the net amid loud applause. from" the spectators..
